Mole Control Service Options

Our mole extermination and control service focuses on the safe and efficient elimination of moles from your property. Whether you’re dealing with a single mole or a large infestation, we have the tools and expertise to handle the problem. Following an initial evaluation of your property's specific needs and conditions, we will initiate a tailored approach based on your lawn's unique requirements and challenges. For mole infestations, we use a combination of proven methods including carbon monoxide fumigation, traditional trapping as well as repellants and preventative grub applications when necessary. Basically, we will use all available methods to kill those moles!

Because moles are predominantly underground creatures, eliminating them is tricky and best left to professionals. The longer moles are allowed to tunnel the more difficult they become to control - they never hibernate, breed rapidly and take over your yard. The reason for this is because moles and voles live in colonies that can have larger populations than you might think, and they can explode to very dense populations in favorable conditions allowing them to quickly colonize and spread through adjacent residential properties. So the best time to get rid of them is....today!

Yards are like people, each one is a little different and that's why we offer a variety of service packages to fit your specific situation and to best suit your needs.

Please see below for more information on each treatment plan available and our details on pricing / costs

Standard Treatment Plan

This treatment plan is for properties that have activity but maybe just 1 or 2 troublemakers or you don't need every single mole gone, you just want to get it under control so it's manageable going forward. Or maybe you just want a more budget friendy option. Whatever the situation we are here to help. Our Standard treatment plan consists of 2 seperate carbon monoxide fumigation treatments scheduled 1 week apart alongside traditional trapping methods.

  • 1st appointment: Our technician will inspect your property to assess activity level and professional-grade carbon monoxide equipment is used to fumigate all existing tunnel systems and dens aggressively. After the initial fumigation, we use an agri-roller (~300lbs) to flatten all existing tunnels on the property so we can better determine active tunnels and den areas upon return 7 days later. Upon customer approval, several specialty underground traps will be set to catch any "transient" or commuter moles coming from off property

  • 2nd appointment: 7 days following the intial treatment, we return to assess new activity, check set traps and locate fresh tunnels to target for another round of CO2 fumigation as needed. All tunnel systems and access points are thoroughly treated and rolled again to flatten all tunnels for customer convenience and enjoyment.

Comprehensive Treatment Plan

Our comprehensive treatment plan consists of multiple fumigation treatments over a 4 week period combined with an active trapping plan designed to fully eliminate moles from your property. This program is for properties that have had active infestations for multiple years, have substantial infestations (where 50%+ of the property has activity), properties larger than 1 acre or anybody that just wants the moles gone....yesterday!

  • 1st appointment: Our technician will inspect your property to assess activity level and determine the best treatment approach before professional-grade carbon monoxide equipment is used to fumigate all existing tunnel systems and dens. We then identify primary tunnels and place specialty underground traps to catch any "commuter" moles coming from off property. Lastly we use an agri-roller (~300lbs) to flatten all exising tunnels on the property to better determine their living areas and entry / exit points when we return for the 2nd treatment.

  • 2nd week: on the 3rd and 7th days following initial fumigation, we return to identify new tunnels, check for fresh mounds, reset traps as necessary and remove moles already caught. Results, weather and new tunneling guides our follow-up

  • 3rd week: 7 days later, we return to complete another carbon monoxide fumigation on all new tunnel systems on the property. We check set traps to assess and adjust the treatment approach and reset/reposition traps as needed

  • 4th week: We locate and assess new tunneling activity (if applicable) and if needed, another round of aggressive CO2 fumigation treatment is applied. At the end of the 4th week, all traps are collected and the property is rolled flat a final time so you can enjoy your mole-free yard again!

Year Round Mole / Vole Control Program

The moles are never going away are they?

If you're one of the unlucky few that seem to have unlimited burrowing pests attacking their property then we do have a year-round program. This isn't something we'd generally recommend starting with, but it's here if you really need it.

After getting the existing infestation under control we can keep your yard mole-free through regular monthly visits, ongoing trapping and fumigation treatments and employing repellants and other exclusionary methods as appropriate. Each situation is different and please ask for more information for your specific needs if interested.
