Traditional Trapping

One of the most trusted and effective methods of burrowing rodent control is trapping, and we believe that traditional trapping methods are an essential tool of mole control. This belief is shared by most experts in the country including university researchers, biologists, and extension specialists. Trapping is environmentally safe as well as family and pet-friendly.

We use traps to help cull large infestations to a manageable level, target transient or "commuter" moles that maybe coming off-site or in difficult hard to reach locations. Whatever the case, as professionals, we know what works! Depending on the situation we will use a variety of below ground traps to eliminate mole, gopher or vole problems

Traps are “blitz” set, which means that we place enough traps out at one time to eradicate nuisance animals in the shortest time possible. All traps are set underground with their locations clearly marked using landscaping flags. We ask that you do not destroy any evidence of activity on your property such as surface tunnels or dirt mounds during your treatment plan. We can use this activity to determine optimal trap locations. After trap placement, we ask that you try to limit any physical activity and mowing within a few feet of the marked traps. We will return to your property on a regular basis to inspect and if necessary, reposition traps. After each visit, we provide an email, text or verbal inspection summary.
