Voles overview

Voles are commonly known as meadow or field mice, and belong to the rodent family.  Meadow, prarie and woodland voles are the species most likely to cause problems in eastern VA by digging shallow burrows just beneath the surface that can cause extensive damage to landscaping, crops and orchards.
