"PERC" stands for Pressurized Exhaust Rodent Control and is a patented, state of the art device designed specifically for injecting carbon monoxide into burrow systems for lethal control of rodents. Carbon monoxide is one of the most potent yet safe poisons that instantly kills burrowing rodents and until now, there has been no inexpensive, efficient delivery system to control these pests

Pure exhaust (2.5% carbon monoxide, CO) is captured off a gas engine and routed through a set of cooling coils into the intake ports of a compressor, then the carbon monoxide is pressurized and concentrated until the parts per million are very high and injected into burrow, purging the air from the burrow in seconds trapping the rodent in an airless burrow before it has a chance to react or escape.

Aside from live trapping and relocating - which is illegal in the state of VA - this is the most humane method of exterminating burrowing rodents since they breathe in a cooled gas that causes them to go to sleep and never wake up.
