Gophers, moles and other burrowing rodents can ruin your garden, damage tree roots, cause irrigation problems and erosion around your home. Much of the damages can lead to personal injuries and, potentially, litigation. Traditional control methods include baiting, trapping, and/or shooting, but these methods are not very effective and can waste your time, money and sanity. A superior alternative to these methods is carbon monoxide fumigation
Burrow Busters employs Carbon Monoxide fumigation techniques to exterminate burrowing rodents immediately and humanely. We use specialized equipment manufactured specifically for burrowing rodent control to inject pure exhaust (2.5% carbon monoxide, CO) that has been compressed, cooled and highly pressurized into the burrow. The air in the burrow is purged very rapidly, with the rodent engulfed almost immediately in a high concentration of exhaust gas CO gas and overcome before it has a chance to escape or block the burrow
Using our specialized equipment and carbon monoxide fumigation we achieve 90-95% extermination rate of burrowing rodents after 1st application.
Typical treatment for a moderate infestation usually takes approximately 1-2 hours, best of all there are no poisonous baits, dangerous traps or anything else left behind.
Carbon monoxide is rat poison without secondary poisoning risks. Using carbon monoxide directly deals with the invasive population and negates any risk of secondary poisoning that could occur if a different chemical control method was used. Additionally, the smoke from carbon monoxide fumigation has no effect on the soil itself.
Your children will be able to safely play in treated areas as soon as an hour following application. There are zero chemicals or pesticides used at Burrow Busters to ensure your yard is always safe for your family
Your pets are safe with our carbon monoxide method as we do not leave any toxic poisions in your soil or dangerous traps on your property.
Using a carbon monoxide machine is safer for the natural ecosystem, as it doesn’t use poisons that could kill other animal populations and non-target species
Burrow Busters uses carbon monoxide routed through a cooling coil and into an air compressor before being injected into burrows. The air in the burrow is purged very rapidly with rodents engulfed immediately and dispatched very humanely. Because the exhaust is cooled and the parts per million are so high the animal is "put to sleep" very quickly
Using a carbon monoxide (PERC) machine is safer for the natural ecosystem, as it's carbon monoxide is poison without secondary poisoning risks. Using carbon monoxide negates any risk of secondary poisoning that could occur if a different chemical control method was used and the smoke has little-to-no effect on the soil itself.
