Mole Control

Eastern moles are small mammals, 5½ to 8 inches long and weighing ¼ pound. They have charcoal gray fur that is extremely soft and plush making it appear as if they have no eyes (they do, it's just hidden under all that fur). They are solitary rodents that spend the majority of their life undergrouund and eat mainly insects, larvae, grubs, and earthworms. They have the ability to create extensive tunnel networks causing widespead damage to lawns, gardens, farms and pastures and unfortunately, the longer moles are allowed to tunnel the more difficult they become to control

Eastern moles are found throughout the Tidewater area, and it's estimated that in good habitat, an acre of land can support three to five moles. Moles are woodland animals in nature, but can quickly colonize and spread through residential properties as they are active year-round

Quick Mole Facts

  • Moles have large, webbed front feet with five toes on each foot and large claws making for highly specialized digging machines -  A mole can dig at the rate of 17 feet per hour!
  •  Moles have to eat every three to four hours or they will starve to death , meaning they have to eat half their body weight EVERY day
  •  Moles do not hibernate. They are active every day of the year. The more snow on the ground, the thicker their blanket is to protect them from cold air

Because moles are predominantly underground creatures, eliminating them is tricky and best left to professionals. Our mole extermination services are designed to efficiently and humanely remove moles from your property immediately. We use advanced techniques and environmentally friendly methods to ensure that moles are eradicated without harming your landscape or non-target species. Our trained technicians have extensive experience in identifying mole activity and applying the most effective extermination strategies.
